2024 Fall Rec League Information
- Cost
- $176 per player and $140 for siblings
- Sibling discounts should be automatically deducted as long as you register all siblings simultaneously
- Maximum capacity is 40 players per division (see below for divisions)
- Once registration reaches capacity, you can email Kyle Sadanaga at KSadanaga@SierraNevadaBasketball.com to be placed on the waiting list.

- Projected days & times
- Mondays between 5:45 - 9:00 pm
- Tuesdays between 5:45 - 9:00 pm
- Wednesdays between 5:45 -9:00 pm
- Thursdays between 5:45-9:00 pm
- Fridays between 4:45 - 9:00 pm
- *We also have some Saturday court time reserved in the event that registration exceeds projections*
- Generally younger grades will be scheduled in the earlier time slots and older grades will be scheduled in the later time slots.
- Typically only 2-3 of these days in any given week (not everyday!).
- Almost ALL teams will practice/play on Fridays, since we have the most court time available on Fridays.

Tentatively, based on skill evaluation ratings (see below), divisions will be:
- Kindergarten/1st grade co-ed
- 1st/2nd grade co-ed
- 3rd/4th girls
- 5th/6th girls
- 7th/8th girls
- 3rd/4th boys
- 5th/6th boys
- 7th/8th boys

Tentative League Timeline
Skill Evaluation Session: August 22 OR August 23
- Players will be assigned by grade level to attend one 75-minute session. They only need to attend one of these sessions, not all of them.
- Players will be evaluated and placed on teams for the season based on grade and skill rating.
- All 3rd-8th graders must attend skill evaluations before being placed on a team.
- K-2nd graders do not attend evaluations.
- Days/times of each evaluation session (organized by gender & grade) will be provided via email, as well as posted on the Fall rec league page, by August 1.
Team Rosters & Schedule
- Team rosters will be emailed to coaches once skill evaluations are completed. Coaches will begin contacting their families immediately.
- Season schedule (practices and games) will be emailed league-wide and posted on the Fall rec league page by September 1, once skill evaluations and team rosters are completed.
- This schedule will include locations and times for practices and games.
- September 9 - November 15, 2024
- Plan for first team practice to be no sooner than Monday, September 9.
- Teams will practice/play on average 2-3 times per week.
- Possible days and time frames (but not all 4 days!)
- Mondays between 5:45 - 9:00 pm
- Tuesdays between 5:45 - 9:00 pm
- Wednesdays between 5:45 -9:00 pm
- Thursdays between 5:45 - 9:00 pm
- Fridays between 4:45 - 9:00 pm
- Generally the youngest grades will be scheduled in the earliest time slots and oldest grades will be scheduled in the latest time slots.
- *We also have some Saturday court time reserved in the event that registration exceeds projections*
- Almost ALL teams will practice/play on Fridays, since we have the most court time available on Fridays.
- No practices or games during WCSD Fall Break week.
- Each practice session will be 60-75 minutes.
- Games typically last approximately 70 minutes.

- Full refunds will be issued through August 23.
- After skill evaluation sessions have been completed, refunds will not be issued unless a player from the wait list is able to fill the roster spot.
