Kyle has been with Sierra Nevada Basketball since its inception in 2009 and became President of the program in 2012.
He has boys coached basketball since 2003, at Damonte Ranch HS and Sage Ridge School:
- 2003-04: DRHS Freshman assistant coach
- 2004-07: DRHS JV assistant, Varsity assistant coach
- 2007-11: DRHS JV head coach, Varsity assistant coach
- 2011-15: DRHS Director of Basketball Operations, Associate Head Coach, Varsity assistant coach
- 2015-17: DRHS Consultant, All Levels
- 2017-18: DRHS Freshman head coach, JV assistant coach
- 2018-20: DRHS Varsity assistant coach
- 2021-23: Sage Ridge Athletic Director, Varsity assistant coach
- 2023-Present: DRHS Director of Basketball Operations, Varsity assistant coach
As a graduate from Wooster High School Class of 2004, Kyle received a diploma from the International Baccalaureate Program, while also playing Varsity basketball under Coach Torrey Sheets. He graduated in May of 2010 from the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is currently the Co-requisite Coordinator for the Math Department at Truckee Meadows Community College.
Vice President
Luigi Terrana
Luigi joined Sierra Nevada Basketball in 2013 and became Vice President in 2015.
While
attending Damonte Ranch High School, he played Varsity basketball and
football, earning the honor of being selected as an All-State linebacker
his senior season.
Luigi began coaching at Damonte Ranch High School after graduating in 2009 and coached for the following 10 years:
- 2009-10: Freshman assistant
- 2010-17: Freshman head coach and Varsity assistant
- 2017-18: JV head coach and Varsity assistant
- 2018-20: Varsity assistant
Director of Athletics
Alyssa Lane

Alyssa joined Sierra Nevada Basketball in 2016 and has served in numerous roles, currently serving as Director of Athletics.
Alyssa has been with Sierra Nevada Basketball since 2013 when she began officiating games as a sophomore at Damonte Ranch High School. After graduation in 2016, Alyssa continued to officiate games for rec leagues, as well as accumulate additional responsibilities within the organization. Alyssa was officially added to the board of directors in 2018. Additionally, Alyssa currently coaches within our Sierra Nevada Warriors travel program, coaching the 6th grade team and assisting at other levels.
Alyssa is currently attending the University of Nevada Reno, pursuing a degree in public health.

Mike Alt

Mike joined Sierra Nevada Basketball in 2014 and is currently the Director of Social Media.
Upon graduating from Damonte Ranch High School in 2008, Mike played tennis at Sierra College before returning to Damonte Ranch High School to help with the boys and girls tennis programs, where he was the Girls Varsity Tennis Head Coach for 2 seasons. Mike has also been the boys Freshman Assistant Coach for 4 seasons under Luigi Terrana and graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in 2014 with a Business Management degree.
Secretary & Treasurer
Carol Chattin
Carol has been with Sierra Nevada Basketball since 2015 as Treasurer and added on the duties of Secretary in 2016.
A Reno native, Carol played high school basketball at Damonte Ranch High School under coach Debra Hellen. Since her graduation in 2009, Carol has continuously garnered more responsibility within the Sierra Nevada Basketball organization, assisting with gym and equipment coordination for rec leagues, as well as taking on a heavy presence within tournament management and a lead role in fundraising efforts.
Director of Facilities
Sarah Soleman
Sarah joined Sierra Nevada Basketball in 2018 as a staff member and joined the Board of Directors in 2023 as the Director of Facilities.
Sarah is an alum of Sierra Nevada Basketball, having played in recreational leagues, camps, and tournaments all the way through 8th grade. Sarah continued her playing career at Damonte Ranch High School, graduating in 2021. Now at the University of Nevada Reno, she is Pre-Med - dual majoring in Neuroscience and Spanish. Sarah has become an integral component of Sierra Nevada
Basketball, leading gym and equipment coordination
for rec leagues, coaching camps, and managing tournaments.
